In May, 2022, I graduated Cum Laude from Marquette University studying Journalism and Digital Media. My decision to pursue Journalism and Digital Media in college stems from my love of writing. While at Marquette, I've had the opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of Journalism such as: writing, reporting, pitching story ideas, operating a camera, anchoring and producing packages to air on MUTV,  Marquette's news station. Senior year, I worked as an intern for The Morning Blend at TMJ4 in Milwaukee, WI. I gained work experience producing content for the website, writing web copy and posting segment clips of each episode to the website after the episode aired. In addition, I worked for the university and utilized my degree by curating social media posts for the Marquette University Wellness Center Instagram account. Most recently, I lived in Nashville, TN and worked as a sales associate at VICI Collection. VICI allowed me to gain experience with customer service/relations and aspects of marketing within the retail space.

After working at Marquette in the Wellness Center and MUTV, with the Morning Blend internship and at VICI Collection, I have decided to focus my career in public relations/communications and social media content creation. For the best career opportunities, I moved from Nashville, Tennessee back to California and have a public relations internship at Beasley and McCusker Communications. I loved acting as a PR Liaison for two interior designers, Evars Collectives and Lauren Evans Interiors, at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase. I loved interior design and this exciting PR internship. 

I am most passionate about communication in the written and verbal forms and branding. My preferred work environment is one in which I play an integral part of a team providing public relations/ social media content/marketing for a company or client. I love the lifestyle and hospitality space.  I have a strong work ethic, am goal-oriented, can multi-task, am good at prioritizing, work well with others and am determined to take the steps required to obtain a successful career. In summary, creating communication that connects people to people, institutions, companies, products and ideas is where I believe I can make the most impact and be an asset to a company.
